BLAKE WILLIFORD, PHD

CHIEF DESIGNER

Blake is a multi-disciplinary designer, computer scientist, and concept artist. His award-winning PhD research and game design is related to teaching drawing skills using sketch recognition. He previously recieved degrees in Industrial Design and Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Institute of Technology and has worked as a freelance designer for 14 years.

He's passionate about inspiring and empowering people to be creative and reach their full potential.

CHRISTOPHER BEYER

CHIEF COMPOSER

Christopher "Lotus" Beyer is a multi-instrumentalist musician and composer with experience in all musical genres including jazz, funk, blues, and progressive rock. In addition to composing music for Destined Studio he also leads sound design and has an innovative process for developing compelling atmospheres and moods.

Chris has been a member of numerous bands and music side projects.

WE'RE HIRING

• 2D Artist / Animator (Contract)

  Destined Studio's debut game Mystical Path is a mobile action RPG that helps you improve basic drawing skills including fine-motor skill, visual perception, and confidence.

  As a 2D artist + animator you will assist primarily with asset creation for enemies, environmental props, character design, and frame animations of these assets.

  Requirements:

  • - Ability to match, and build upon, an art direction inspired by Indies like Gris and Child of Light
  • - Ability to iteratively conceptualize unique enemy designs
  • - Ability to make 2D frame animations of enemies for idle and attacking states
  • - Ability to produce other assets and offer suggestions for art direction improvement
  • - Working with 2D animation in Unity specifically a plus+
  • - Experience with Unity particle effects and VFX a plus

• Marketing Consultant (Contract)

  Destined Studio's debut game Mystical Path is a mobile action RPG that helps you improve basic drawing skills including fine-motor skill, visual perception, and confidence.

  As a marketing consultant you will develop and execute a strategy for helping the game gain exposure pre-release and post-release.

  Requirements:

  • - Ability to create engaging social media content and gain followers
  • - Ability to engage with relevant communities and build a following
  • - Ability to help us strategize marketing campaigns around a target audience(s)
  • - Ability to help us partner with organizations like schools and non-profits
  • - Experience with SEO
  • - Experience with paid ads
  • - Experience marketing to parents is a plus
